Stanija Prodanic

(1935 + 2002)

Stanija Prodanic, daughter of Radovan and Novka Antonic. Plucked like a rose from the fields of flowers, married Jovan Prodanic. Had a son Milovan whom they raised. Stanija came to the U.S.A. in 1972. She lived to marry her only son and inherited daughter, Moevanu, from whom she received three golden grandchildren, Tanija, Vera and Nicholas, to carry the family name. Stanija cherished her daughter-in-law like her own daughter that she never had. Her senior years were spent in Hawaii with her children. She believed in God and our Lord Jesus Christ and served Him until the last hour. Then one day Stanija fell ill and did not know of herself and her children anymore. She suffered eight full months. It seemed like God forgot his servant Stanija, or maybe it was our love that kept her here on Earth just for one more day to be our Mom and Grandma to see and touch. Instead of letting her go, we selfishly kept her to us. Our love was so strong, even God could not take her away from us until that faithful Gods day, November 17th 2002, one day after her Slava that she so much loved and cherished your after year throughout her whole life. Stanija Prodanic celebrated her last Slava with her soul, and she passed her apron to her daughter-in-law Moevana. On this God given day of November 17th 2002 at 12:55 p.m. Stanija left us to serve in Heaven, by God and Christ. Stanija Prodanic left behind her only son Milovan, daughter-in-law Moevanu, grand-daughters Tanija and Vera, grandson Nicholas, husband Jovan Prodanic, brothers Stanoje and Mihailo Antonic with their families, Hawaii Church fellowship, as well as numerous friends and relatives in, Serbia and the US. Come back in my dreams Mom, So that I can see your smiling face once again. Son Milovan Prodanic This death notice will always remain on the Internet as the everlasting remembrance of Stanija Prodanic.
