It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aneta Hadži-Tanović, 52, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Born on November 3, 1972 in Belgrade, Serbia, to father Višeslav and mother Verica Hadži-Tanović. Memory eternal.
Loving daughter of Verica; dearly beloved wife of Aleksandar; loving mother of Iskra; caring sister of Kristina, Milica, Jovana and Lara.
Aneta will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, colleagues and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.
Visitation took take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.
Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service) 7:00 p.m. at Sveta Gora.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Services) and funeral will take place at the Novo Bežanisko Groblje Cemetery in Belgrade, Serbia.
