Branko Jordanovski was born May 6, 1937 to Ilija and Paraskeva Jordanovski in the village of Krakornica in Mavrovo National Park, Makedonija. He was the loving husband of Jelica Jordanovska for 61 years and an an adoring father to his four daughters: Andja, Ilinka, Gordana and Branka and grandfather to six: Natalija, Nenad, Marjana, Angel, Aleksandar and Zoran.
Branko lived each day with playful passion and the courage to create success in the unknown. His willingness to improve the lives of those closest to him will forever be cherished. The values he instilled in his family created a deep foundation of love and identity that will carry them on forever.
Branko passed away in the arms of his four daughters on April 24, 2023 in Chicago, his home since 1976. He is a legend that will be missed dearly on this earth. His inspiring presence will be cherished for eternity by all who were blessed to have known him. He is now in perfect peace for he is once again with Jelica, the love of his life.
Opelo (Christian Orthodox Funeral Service) Thursday, April 27, 2023 – 1 p.m. at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwauke Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.
Interment St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.
After the interment Memorial Luncheon for the repose of the noble soul of Branko Jordanovski will take place at the New Gračanica Monastery, 35240 W Grant Avenue, Third Lake, IL 60046.
