With a heavy heart, and with deep sorrow, I\\\’m informing all of you that my dear mother Danica Oreskovic has passed away this morning at 9:30am (10 Feb 2012) after a long and difficult illness. I am hoping everyone remembers her beautiful smiling face, her young spirit, and her enthusiasm towards life. She was friendly, open, and persistent, and she freely shared her life experiences with everyone. She was always ready to help her friends and countrymen, and loved to hear about all their successes. She was a big patriot and proud of her church. She loved her family unconditionally, and with her departure, has left a huge emptiness and void in our hearts. With her huge love, she shared her many experiences and wisdom with me, which has shaped my character and ingrained the essence of her being into me. Baka Dana dedicated her life to her grandsons, Aleksandar and Vladimir, and with great pride, she will always be shining her light upon them to forever guide their path to where-ever their destinies take them. Her son-in-law Dimitrije will forever be grateful for all her sacrifices she made to our family. On behalf of my family, and my mother\\\’s brother Aleksandar Oreskovic, I bid my mother a final goodbye from this transient earth, and look forward to one day reconnect with her spirit in the next heavenly world. May my mother\\\’s memory be eternal.
