Daniella Violet Gomez, age 74, passed away November 7, 2023. Beloved wife of Bob Gomez, devoted sister of Christ Nogulich and Natalija Nogulich, precious daughter of the late Helen and the late Walter Nogulich and dear aunt to Nicolaus Nogulich and Lexie Nogulich. Memory eternal.

Daniella was born In Chicago in 1948, attended Bell School, Lake View high School, University of Illinois-Chicago and graduated from Lake Forest College in l970, majoring in languages. After studying abroad and teaching Spanish in Chicago Public high school, she pursued her passion for filmmaking and attended Columbia College in Chicago. Daniella went on to direct films, music videos and ultimately became a renowned producer. She was the recipient of an unprecedented five Clio Awards for her creative work in commercials.

Daniella was an active member of St. Steven of Dečani Serbian Orthodox Church in Chicago, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was Editor in Chief of the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Book.
In l989, she married the love of her life, Bob Gomez, and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage. Daniella is known for her determined spirit, endless creativity and loving kindness to everyone she met. She will be remembered by many whom she inspired for a very long time.

Visitation is on Saturday, November 18th from 9am to 10am at St. Steven of Dečani Church at 3543 W. Leland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625, followed by Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) and then internment at Montrose Cemetery at 5400 N. Pulaski Road in Chicago.
