Dimšo Golub, 80, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. Born on March 15, 1938 in Tarčin near Hadžići in Bosnia and Herzegovina to father Ostoja and mother Jovanka Golub. Dearly beloved husband of Velenka, loving father of Radenko (Ljiljana) Golub, daughter-in-law Tanja Golub, proud grandfather of Marko, Miloš and Njegoš, caring brother of Bosa Avlijaš, Ljeposava Ćosić, Mira Vitor, Lenka Gogić, Zagorka Žuža. Dimšo Golub will be sorely missed by families Golub, Ćosić, Gogić, Žuža, Vitor, Jovanović and Vujičić, numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in the USA, Australia, Republic of Srpska, Serbia and world-wide. Opelo, (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service), will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Monastery, 35240 N. Grant Street, Third Lake, IL 60046. Interment at the New Gračanica Cemetery, to be followed by Daća, (Memorial Luncheon) at the Monastery.
