Dušan Marković, 79, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Born on July 17, 1945 in the village оf Gornji Krnjin, Leposavić municipality in Kosovo, Serbia, to father Rajko and mother Vučica Marković. Memory eternal.
Dušan will be sorely missed by his dearly beloved wife Dragomirka Marković; loving son Dragiša Marković; cherished daughter Dragana (Marco) LaPuma; proud grandsons: Jacob and David; caring brothers: Vojin (Mirjana) Marković and Ranko Marković; the late sister Vinka (the late Drago) Barać, as well as by numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.
Visitation took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 – 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) was served at the Monastery.
