Dušanka Ćuić, 90, passed away in Chicago on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Born on October 8, 1932 in Korenica, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, to father Nikola and mother Danica Ćuić. Memory eternal.

Dušanka lived a wonderful life and was very independent till the end, had a great sense of humor that will leave you laughing for a while. Cared for everyone around, always ensured you were appropriate dressed for the weather. Loved talking to her sister regularly, always checked in with friends to make sure they were doing well, yearly birthday calls were always made and cards were sent. With a heavy heart we say goodbye to her on Friday July 21th. She will be missed greatly. May her soul rest in peace. Vječnaja pamjat.

Dušanka’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by her family, Stanislava, Milan, Dragana and Jelena and her dear friend Selinat.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) and interment took take place on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Orlovača Cemetery in Belgrade, Serbia.
