Gisela Tešanović, 101, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona surrounded by her family. Born on June 1, 1920 in Freidorf, Romania to father Eugene and mother Katherine Kastner. Memory Eternal.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Vid; loving Mother of Carol (Chuck) Topczewski and the late Christine (late Randy) Ferrell; Caring Grandmother of Lisa (late Joel) Reichert, Lori Ferrell, Andrew Ferrell, Naomi Ferrell; Proud Great-Grandmother of Ben and Sam Reichert and Isa and Amelia Ferrell.

Gisela’s kind and generous heart will be truly missed by numerous other family members and dear friends, as well as by her pets, Katie and Abby (Labrador Retrievers) and Beakless, her parrot.

Gravesite Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery, New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the Monastery.
