Gojko Pavlović, 88, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on May 18, 2021. Born on September 29, 1932 in Stara Pazova, Serbia, to father Obrad and mother Danica Pavlović. Memory eternal.
Dearly beloved husband of Olga, loving father of Dr. Biljana (Radovan Šurjančev) Pavlović-Šurjančev, proud grandfather of Ivana, Aleksandar-Saša and Katarina Šurjančev.
Gojko’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and world-wide.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic only the immediate family members will attend the visitation on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 5 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641. Everybody else will be invited to join in the Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) via Zoom at 7 p.m. at the funeral home..

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, Inc., Chicago in the memory of our beloved Gojko Pavblovic to help vulnerable children and families, impoverished schools and damaged monasteries in Kosova and Metohija, where Gojko Pavlovic lived for several years when he started working as a young geodetic surveyor after graduating from high school of geodesy.
