Ljubo Pejović, 85, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Born on November 29, 1933 in Trubjela, Montenegro to Nikola and Borica Pejović. Dearly beloved husband of Carolyn, loving father of Nikola (Isabella) Pejović, Jovana (Miles) Maniaci and Radovan (Teresa) Pejović, proud grandfather of Alessandra Nieves, Milena, Marko and Anabella Maniaci, Ljubo, Mirko, Danilo and Vittorio Pejović. Ljubo will be sorely missed by numerous other family members and dear friends in Montenegro, Serbia, the USA and world-wide. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 North Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL  60641. Pomen, (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service), 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Opelo, (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service), Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Road, Libertyville, IL 60048. Interment will take place at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cemetery. A repast-dacha will be offered at New Gracanica Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046, following internment.
