Our never to be forgotten mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister Marija Strinić, 99, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Born on October 14, 1923 in Ridjane, Croatia to father Milan and mother Pera Grubnić. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved mother of Milan Strinić and Smiljana (Savo) Radulović; Proud gradmother of Demitrie (Draženka) Radulović, Maria Radulović and Dušan (Marija) Radulović; Caring great-grandmother of Nikola, Manda and Katarina Radulović, Sofia Obadić, Aleksandar and Luka Radulović; Loving sister of Jovan (Nevenka) Grubnić.

Marija will be sorely missed by numerous other family members and dear friends in Croatia, Serbia, the USA and world-wide.

Visitation on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 5701 N. Redwood Drive, Chicago, IL 60631.

After Opelo the interment will take place at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N. Grant Street, Third Lake, IL 60046.
