Marko Zubić, 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Born on August 18, 1933 in Blagaj, Kupres municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to father Miloš and mother Andja Zubić. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved husband of Stana; Loving father of Olivera (Nikola) and Jadranka; Proud grandfather of Andrea (Spiros Contostavlos) and Maja; Caring great-grandfather of Sofia: Fond brother of Marinko.

Marko’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Monday, May 8, 2023 - 11:00 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Following Opelo, interment will take place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.

After the funeral, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), will be served at the monastery.
