Michael Loncar, passed away on Friday September 25, 2009 at the age of 86. He was born in Trebinje, Hercegovina, former Yugoslavia, to late Vule and Late Milica (Bubalo) Loncar. Michael is survived by brother Risto and sister Andja, nephews and nieces all of Trebinje; Godchildren (Kumovi) Mitar Mace and Marija Mace Ramon; Kuma Donna Mace, Kum Tony Ramon, and Little Kuma Aleksandra Ramon. Long Time Family Friend of Milos, Danica, Jovan, Jovanka and Bozidar Pusara. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ilija and Todo and sister Mara. Michael was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and the church choir of Merrillville, IN, and a member of Srbadija Lodge. He was a retired employee of U.S. Steel machine shop. Michael will be dearly missed by family and friends. Memory eternal.
Opelo, (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service), Wednesday September 30, 2009, 2 p.m., at Sveta Gora, Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road in Chicago. Interment Montrose Cemetery.
