Milan (Mišo) Letica, age 55, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022. Beloved son of the late Rade and the late Milica who both were born in Donje Jezero, Plaški, Lika, Srpska Krajina. Memory eternal.
Dear nephew of Mara (Petar) Jakšić, Nikola (the late Mara) Letica, the late Milan (Mara) Letica, the late Petar (Danica) Letica, the late Ranka (the late Milan) Ralić and the late Jovo (the late Dara) Letica.
Loving cousin of Rade (Connie) Letica and family, Marko (Slavica) Letica and family, Branko (Mira) Letica and family, Milica (Petar) Trbović and family, Djurdjica (Dušan) Glumac and family, Nikola Šumonja and family, Djuro Šumonja and family, and many other cousins in Europe. Cherished Kum of Opsenica and Čikara families and devoted friend to many.
Milan was a longtime employee of Allstate Insurance Company until the time of his death and a devout member of Old Holy Resurrection (OHR) Serbian Orthodox Church and proud member of the OHR Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac Choir.
Mišo’s gentle smile and friendly disposition will be missed dearly.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) will commence at 12 noon at the Monastery. Interment to follow.
Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon (Daća) to follow burial service at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W. Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
