Milan Šubarić, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Born on August 5, 1945 in Velika Obarska, Bijeljina Municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to father Tomo and mother Bosiljka Šubarić. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved husband of Rada Šubarić; Loving father of Ružica (Marinko) Babić, Menka (Kris) San Pietro and Milanka (Marko) Djordjević; Proud Grandfather of Milan (Liz Drabkin) Babić and Lidija Babić, Landon and Liliana San Pietro, Angelina, Aleksandar and Nikola Djordjević.

Milan’s kind and generous heart will be immeasurably missed by numerous Šubarić/Vasilić family, Kumovi Milan and Razumenka Marković with family and many more families and friends all across the United States, Serbia, the Serbian Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and world-wide.

Visitation Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service) Wednesday, May 17, 2023 - 7 p.m. at Sveta Gora.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Thursday, May 18, 2023 - 11 a.m. at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.

Following Opelo, interment will take place at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
