Radisav Jocic (Toronto, ON)

I was privileged to have Mladen as my uncle. He was a special person to my brother, Ljubisa, and I. We would share with him our deepest secrets and ask for his opinion on all important matters. It always amazed me how thoughtful and considerate he was, and he never rushed to judge anything or anybody, always showing great respect and tolerance for everybody. Even today, old school friends talk about my uncle with respect and love. He loved his family, his wife Ruzica, his daughter Angelina, and his son Sava—named after his father and my grandfather, who built our family home. Mladen lived a long, amazing life, but the fact that he is not with us is heartbreaking and leaves a great hole in our hearts. His love and thoughtfulness towards me throughout my entire life, as well as his deep love for my family will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts, and we will never forget him. He will always be my Ujka Mladja. His nephew Rade, with Slavica and Alexandra.
