Momčilo Milidrag, age 66, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Born on October 2, 1955 in Kalnovik, Bosnia to father Čedomir and mother Desa Milidrag. Memory etrnal.
Dearly beloved husband of Dinka, loving father of son Goran (Aleksandra) and daughter Sanja (Adnan). Caring brother of Nebojša (Stoja), Siniša, and the late Ljubo (Radmila). Proud uncle of Milana (Nikola), Miroslav (Dragana) and Aleksandar. Also he was preceeded in death by father Čedomir and mother Desa.
Momčilo’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by families, Delalić, Bartulović, Maksumić, Begović, Muhibić, Govedarica, Djurdjević, Hebibović and Stanić, as well as by numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Bosnia, Serbia the USA and worldwide.
Momčilo was a husband and a father, a master chess player, a public servant who served as a police officer for nearly 25 years, a history and knowledge enthusiast, and a giver to anyone in need.
We will all miss him immensely. May he rest in God’s eternal grace.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) took place on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12 noon at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) took place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
