Nenad Ignjatić, age 71, passed away peacefully at home in Rockford, Illinois on Monday, August 28, 2023. Born on January 8, 1952 in Kakanj, Bosnia and Herzegovina to father Ilija and mother Milka Ignjatić. Memory eternal.

Dearlu beloved husband of Stoja; Loving father of Dragoslav (Milijana) and Dalibor (Tami); Proud grandfather of Marko (Sonja), Boris, Maja, Mackenzie, Luka and Aleksandar.

Nenad’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by other family members, kumovi, and dear friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12 noon at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), will be held at the New Gračanica monastery.
