Nickolas Nick Božić, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Born on March 23, 1950 in Germany, to father Jovan and mother Klara Božić. Memory etrnal.

Dearly beloved brother of Mara (Mary Ann Rachowsky RN), Rosie Susan Montalvo, Linda Božić (estranged) and Marko Božić; caring uncle of Mary Rachowsky, Victoria Richmond, Elizabeth Richmond, Luka Rachowsky, Raymond Prusewski, Antony Montalvo, David Montalvo, Officer Joseph Montalvo and David Montalvo; great uncle to Mateja Rachowsky and Jovan Rachowsky (estranged).

Nick’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Germany, Serbia the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) took place on Thursday, January 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will take place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
