Ninko Veljković, 82, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. Born on November 23, 1940 in Jošanička Banja in Serbia to father Radisav and mother Ratomirka Veljković. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved husband of Gordana Veljković; Loving father of Darko (Danica) Veljković and Danijela Veljković; Proud grandfather of Sofia and Nikola Veljković; Caring brother of Milenko (Višnja) Veljković and Djordje (Mira) Veljković; Fond uncle of Dejan, Goran, Miloš and Danijel Veljković, Marija Raškovich, Daliborka Rizvi, Aleksandar Veljković and Dragana Manojlović; Dearest brother-in-law of Milanka Veljković and Rajko Matović;.

Ninko’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Thursday, June 1, 2023 - 11:00 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Following Opelo, interment will take place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.

After the funeral, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the monastery.
