Prezvitera Ivanka-Ida Ocokoljich, 86, reposed in the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2025. Born on March, 9, 1939 in Čacak, Serbia, to father Dobrivoje and mother Jelena Marjanović. Memory eternal.

Her peaceful passing followed years of dementia progression. Surviving are her husband V. Rev. Uroš Ocokoljich; daughter Dr. Dawn-Lela (Thomas) Harvey; son Dorian Yuen; grandchildren: William Yuen, Dr. Amanda (Philip) Plant, Edward and Juliet Harvey; great-granddaughter Harriet Plant.

Prezvitera Ivanka-Ida was born in Čačak, Serbia and immigrated with her family to America in the 1950's and settled in Chicago. A long-time resident in the Logan Blvd. and Lincoln Park neighborhoods, she was educated at University of Illinois, Champaign and Chicago campuses where she pursued architecture. She practiced architecture and interior design with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and honed her skills with the City of Chicago renovating various public centers and offices in her 20 year career with the City. She had a passion for residential real estate development, gardening and travel, Spending many of her retirement years wintering in Naples, FL. enjoying the sun and weather. She will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, colleagues and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation took place from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048.

Opelo, (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service), 12 noon at the St. Sava Monastery.

Interment St. Sava Cemetery.

Following interment, Daća, (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), was held at the St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church, 27450 N. Bradley Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
