Smilja Sala, nee Armacki, age 80, of Palatine is survived by her daughter Maria (Michael) Singer, grandson Frank, Sisters Danica and Stojka, preceded by her sister Stana. She was born in Bashaid, Yugoslavia on March 9, 1929 and came to Chicago in 1972. Smilja studied Agriculture at Vrshac University in Yugoslavia. She was a caring, loving and generous woman always willing to put others before herself. We will miss her always. Memory eternal.
