Stana Macavara, 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Born on December 17, 1953 in Islam Grcki, Municipality of Zadar in Croatia, to father Milan and mother Sofija Šekez. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved wife of Milenko Macavara; loving mother of Radovan Macavara and Zoran (Dragana) Macavara; proud grandmother of Nikolina Macavara.

Stana’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in Croatia, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service) at 3:30 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) and interment will take place at the St. Ilija Church and Cemetery, Ceranje Donje, Zadar Municipality in Croatia.
