Tomka Lakić, 86, loving wife of the late Miloš Lakić, passed away on Palm Sunday, April 9, 2023. Born on March 5, 1937 in Kozica near Ključ, Republic of Srpska, to father Mladjan and mother Janja Tepić. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved mother of Milica Ivanović and Milan (Gorica) Lakić; Proud grandmother of Pavle, Veselka, Filip, Velimir and Liliјana; Caring sister of Milorad (Persa) Tepić and Marinko (Milanka) Tepić. 

Tomka’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by kumovi Kuzmanović as well as numerous other family members and dear friends in the Fatherland, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 11:15 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 12-noon a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.

Following Opelo, interment will take place at the Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
