Vasilios K. Giannakas, 71, passed away in Park Ridge on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Born on May 24, 1948 in Athens, Greece to Konstantinos and Konstantina Giannakas. Beloved husband of Zlatimirka, loving step-father of Marina (Slavoljub) Antic and Dejan (Katarina ) Stevanovic, proud step-grandfather of Maja, Marko, Miloš, Jovan, Andreja and Milica, caring brother of Nikolaus (Angeliki) Giannakas, loving uncle of Haris and Dina. Vasilios will be sorely missed by numerous other family members and friends in Greece, Serbia, the USA and world-wide.
