Velimir Varagić, 92, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Born in the village of Češće near Tarčin, County of Hadžići on April 26, 1928 to father Nikola and mother Milka Varagić.

Loving father of Dragomir (Jelena), Djordje (Milojka) and Borka (Milan), pround grandfather of Nebojša (Milijana), Srdjan, Novak (Zvjezdana), Nemanja, Sanja (Steven), Nikolina (Duško) and Nevena; Fond great-grandfather of Milan, Nicholas, Aleks, Teodora, Stefan and Mirko.

Velimir will be greatly and sorely missed by numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Australia, the USA and world-wide. Memory eternal.

Visitation Monday, September 28, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service) will take place at 7 p.m. at Sveta Gora.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N. Grant Street, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment at the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the funeral, Dacha (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), will be served at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
