Vlastica Banković, 51, dearly beloved wife of the late Dragan Banković, passed away in on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born on June 16, 1973 in Rečka, Negotin municipality in Serbia. Memory eternal.

Loving mother of Ana and Maja Banković; caring daughter of Dragica Banković; proud grandmother of Vuk and Lav Leković; dearest sister of Ljilja (Goran) Ilić and Mića (Suzana) Banković; fond daughter-in-law of Desko (Slobodanka) Banković; dearest niece of Zoran (Kosa) Banković; fond sister-in-law of Bojan Banković.

Vlastica’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members and friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) at 12 noon at New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.

After the Opelo interment will take place at the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be serveed at the monastery.
