Žejka Petrović, 49, tragically passed away in Kentucky on Monday, February 24, 2025. Born on November 30, 1975 in Cetinje, Montenego, to father Djordjije and mother Zagorka. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved daughter of Zagorka-Gara; loving mother of Kristina and Aleksandra; proud grandmother of Kalina and Kasia; dearest sister of Danilo and Jelena; caring nice of Dimitrije-Mićo and Slavo; loving mother-in-law of Andrija; fond wife of Paul.

Žejka’s noble and generous heart will be sorely missed by families Petrović, Skrobanović and Lukić, as well as by numerous other family members, Kumovi, colleagues and dear friends in Montenegro, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Interment will take place at the Mahala Cemetery in Zeta, Montenegro.
