Dearest Stan, Zorica and family, The Pattington and The Pattington community will never be the same without Goldie, so warm and talented. She was family to those of us who have lived in The Pattington for decades. We loved watching Stan and Goldie’s children grow and we fondly remember going to hear Goldie sing. Then she opened her fabulous flower shop, from which we ordered for my beloved Mother and others. We ache at this news and are shocked and deeply saddened. Carlisle is with me in Qatar as I write this–we send our love through time and space. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. Sending prayers, Mary Dedinsky and Carlisle Herbert

Carol Black (Chicago, IL)

So sorry to hear of Goldie’s death. Condolences to Stan the whole family. I can still remember seeing her all dressed up, that beautiful mane of dark wavy hair flying and hurrying to a gig at a Serbian club. Also would see her taking care of her lovely grandchildren in front of her flower shop. And, you Stan, remodeling the kitchen for her. How she must have enjoyed picking out all the colors, appliances and cabinetry, etc. Goldie always had a smile for you when you’d see her. Rest in Peace

Luis Collado (Chicago, IL)
