Alexandra Marissa Krnich, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Born on January 27, 1998 in Lake Forest, Illinois, to father Ronald and mother Koula Krnich. May her memory be eternal.

Dearly beloved daughter of Ronald and Koula Krnich; Loving sister of Stephanie Krnich; Adoring granddaughter of George and Toula Pergantinas; Devoted niece of Joe and Sophie Krnich and Nick and Jimmy Pergantinas; Loving cousin of Nicole and Tony Dixon and Aleks and Natasha Krnich; and her dear pet Stella.

Alexandra’s young, kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and her precious friends in the USA and worldwide.

Alexa grew up in Grayslake, Illinois. She graduated from Grayslake North High School and went on to graduate from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Alexa had a zest for life. She enjoyed taking yoga classes with her sister during the week. She loved to cook beautiful meals. She loved to listen to her music. She was taken from us too soon. Her family and friends were blessed to have had her in their lives. She will be deeply missed. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers so her memory lives on.

Visitation Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12 noon.

Following Opelo, interment will take place at the Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
