Milena Mitrović, age 88, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born on April 26, 1937 in Ripanj, Serbia, to father Voja and mother Ljubica Mitrović. Memory etrnal.
Loving mother of Mića (Gorica) and Milanka; proud grandmother of Miroslav, Boban, Mića and Marina.
Milena’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Serbia the USA and worldwide.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) took place on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) took place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
