Milka Malobabić, age 92, dearly beloved wife of the late Branko, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2025. Born on September 10, 1932 in Gornja Trebinja, Karlovac, Croatia to father Josip and mother Milica Vidnjević. Memory eternal.

Loving mother of Mary “Mira” Lubarda and John “Janko” (Brigitte) Malobabić; cherished Oma of Christopher and Sarah Malobabić; loving sister of Žarko Vidnjević and the late Darinka Malešević and the late Ranko Vidnjević.

Milka’s kind heart will be sorely missed by families Malobabić and Vidnjević, as well as numerous other family members and dear friends in Croatia, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 E.186th Street, Lansing, IL 60438.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 2:00 p.m. at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church.

After the Wake Service, Daća, (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) was served at the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) and the Interment will take place at the Gabrić Cemetery, Slavsko Polje, Croatia.
