With great sadness, we inform relatives and friends that on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 83, the great and noble heart of Miodrag-Mile Stanojević stopped beating. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Petka near Lazarevac in Serbia, to father Radislav and mother Jelena. Memory eternal.
Visitation Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.
Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthodox Wake Service) 4 p.m. at Sveta Gora.
Also, visitation Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W. Grand Avenue, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 12 noon at the New Gracanica Monastery.
Interment will take place at the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
After the funeral, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will be served at the Serbian Brothers Help, 19697 W Grand Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046.
For you and for many of us time has stopped. The disease won. Without you, in our lives nothing will be the same anymore. One day we hope that this sorrow and grief will be replaced by beautiful memories of you, In our hearts you will be forever.

Mike, was not only my employer but also one of the best people I’ve ever met. He was always ready to help, offering support whenever it was needed, and he did the same for so many others.
