Nadežda Jekić, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. Born on February 19, 1939 in Kragujevac, Serbia, to father Miodrag and mother Vidosava Arsenijević.

Nadežda lost her beloved husband Miodrag on December 20, 2021. She is survived by her caring daughters: Zorica (Dragan) Jevremović, Verica (Zoran) Marić, Slavica (Dragan) Simić; Beloved grandchildren: Ivan (lima), Nenad (Alana), Miljan (Julie), Predrag (Milena) and Tamara (Hector) ; Beloved great-grandchildren: Mihailo, Raphael and Athena Sofia.

Hеr kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, Kumovi, dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) will take place on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will take place at the New Gračanica Monastery.
