Natalie Sliepcevich, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born November 10, 1915 in Anaconda, Montana to Maksim and Jovanka (Lubibratich) Sliepcevich.
Natalie graduated from the Anaconda High School in 1934 and attended Butte Business College. Natalie was a librarian for Hearst Free Library for 50 years of unbroken service retiring in 1987 and was a life member of the American Library Association. She was a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed golf, skiing, crafts, tennis and flower gardening.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Cleo Sliepcevich. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dr. Cheddy Sliepcevich; her sister, Dr. Elena Sliepcevich; and baby brother, Milorad Sliepcevich.
Visitation was held from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, Oklahoma.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) was held at the New Gracanica Monastery in Illinois, Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. with interment following in the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
