Petar Ilić born on May 6, 1962 in Chicago Il. Was sent to his eternal home on October 29, 2025. He is the beloved son of Petar Ilić and the late Joanne Potts. Memory eternal.
Petar was known for his big heart and smile. He was always willing to help others. He was an electrician by trade including many other skill sets and talents. He always loved a challenge. His favorite past time was cooking for others, fishing and being close to nature. His passing has left a void in our hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched. We ask that you remember him for the good he did and the joy he brought to others. He made life fun and his laughter and kindness will live on in the memories of those who loved him.
Petar is survived by his father Petar Ilić.
Father of two beautiful daughters, Stephanie (Mark) Dykas, Haley (Nick) Mandich.
Grandfather of Harper, Jack, Ryan, Mila and Madeline.
Fond brother of Linda (Kenneth) Gassman, Diane (Belous) Isha, George Ilic.Loving Uncle of Nicole, Andrew, Melissa (Franck), Audrina, Guiliana and Loel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th from 10 to 11am at the Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 32377 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville IL 60048.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 11:00 a.m. at the St. Sava Monastery.
After the Funeral Service interment at the St. Sava Cemetery.
Immediately following, Memorial Luncheon at Jimmy's Charhouse, 1413 Peterson Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
