Risto Jović, 63, passed away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born on March 10, 1958 in Gornja Špionica, Brčko Municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to father Jovo and mother Pelka Jović. Memory eternal.
Dearly beloved husband of Nada, loving father of Pelka Zlačić and Mara (Branko) Todorović, proud grandfather of Milana, Marija and Milan Zjačić, Marko, Milan, David and Nada Todorović, caring brother of Paja (Cviko) Radić, Sava Bogdanović, Joka Tanić, Milojka (Uroš) Urošević, Mara Stanković, Dara (Stipe) Tobok and Andja (Todor) Perić, dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Risto’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and world-wide.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) and interment will take place at the Vidrović Cemetery in Gornja Špionica, Brčko Municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Risto, when I was released from San Quentin prison in 2004 I had nowhere to go. You gave me a place to stay as days turned into weeks and our friendship blossomed.
