Slavko Živak, age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born on May 27, 1953 in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina to father Djuro and mother Draginja Živak. Memory eternal.

Dearly beloved husband of Jovanka, loving father of Aleksandar (Ivana) and Miroslav (Nataša); proud grandfather of Marko, Mia, Lena and Danka.

Slavko’s kind and generous heart will be sorely missed by his siblings Mirko, Milan, Drago and Zora with their families as well as numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) will take place at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
