Sa neizrecivom tugom i žalošću obaveštavamo rodbinu i prijatelje da je u utorak 17. januara 2023. godine u 20. godini života prestalo da kuca mlado i plemenito srce Sofije Marije Mlađenović, rođene 19. septembra 2002. godine u Arlington Hajtsu, država Ilinois u Americi, od oca Bože i majke Dragane Mlađenović. Vječnaja pamjat.
Rodbina i prijatelji oprostiće se od pokojne Sofije Marije u nedelju 22. januara 2023. godine od 5 sati posle podne u Srpskom Pravoslavnom Pogrebnom Zavodu Sveta Gora, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.
Mali pomen obavljen je u 6 sati posle podne u Svetoj Gori.
Opelo je obavljeno u ponedeljak 23. januara 2023. godine u 11 sati pre podne u Srpskom Pravoslavnom Manastiru Svetog Save, 32377 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048. Činodejstvuje O. Dr. Branislav Končarević.
Posle Opela obavljena je sahrana na manastirskom groblju.
Posle sahrane poslužena je Daća za pokoj Sofijine mlade i plemenite duše u manastiru Nova Gračanica, 35240 N Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.

I have known the Madjenovic family for several years all the girls have a very congenial personality and Sofija’s positive outlook towards life made the world look very peaceful. I am very lucky to have known her and her family especially her father Bozo a very devout Christian and my best friend. I pray to god almighty to give Mladjenovic family the strength to deal with this terrible tragedy and bless Sofia’s soul in peace and heaven.
From the moment I met Sofia, I felt a special connection between the two of us, I will never forget the memories with her and they will live with me as long as I live. God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers, and whoever knew Sofia knows that she was, Sofia was an angel on earth and I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet Sofia and spend moments with her that I will carry in my heart forever, I am sure that Sofija watches over us and that Sofija will live through all of us as long as we live. I was close friends with Sofija in middle school leading up to high school. She was so kind, funny, smart, and caring. Some of my favorite memories with her are playing volleyball which she thrived in, hanging out after school, and so many more memories. I’ll always remember her for her big smile and how genuinely kind she was to me. I’m so glad I got the privilege to know Sofija, and her beautiful personality. My families condolences, love and prayers go out to the Mladjenović family 🤍.
