Svetlana Marković, 61, dearly beloved wife of the late Tioslav-Tića Marković, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. Born on May 23, 1964 in Pločnik near Niš in Serbia to father Stevan and mother Bogdana Radokanović. Memory eternal.

Relatives and friends will bid farewell to the late Svetlana on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sveta Gora Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60641.

Mali Pomen (Serbian Orthdox Wake Service) was held at 6 p.m. at Sveta Gora.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) was held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Nova Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W. Grant Avenue, Third Lake, IL 60046.

Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

Following interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) for the repose of Svetlana’s noble soul was held at the monastery.
