Svetozar Borojević, 76, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Born on May 15, 1949 in Dvor na Uni, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to Milos and Ružica Borojević. Memory eternal.

Beloved husband of the late Branka; loving father of Miloš Borojević and Ljubica (Milan) Vasiljević; proud grandfather of Nikola, Jovan and Stevan Borojević and Jelena, Kristina, Luka and Pavle Vasiljević; caring brother of Stojan Borojević and Milka Gvozdić.

Svetozar will be sorely missed by numerous other family members, kumovi and dear friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the USA and worldwide.

Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Avenue, Third Lake IL 60046.

Interment at the Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.

Daća, (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon), was held at the monastery immediately following the burial.
