Tomislav Lazarevski, 88, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Born November 14, 1934 in Selo Krakornica, Makedonija to Mother, Jefrosija Stefanovski and Father, Haralampija Lazarevski. Mempry eternal.

Beloved husband of The Late Jeva Lazarevski. Loving father of Debbie (John) Sawyer, Aco (Violeta) Lazarevski, Divna (The Late Jovan) Ivanisevic, Vesna (Zoran ) Momich, Ljiljana (Branko) Tisma. Loving Grandfather to Valentina (Nenad) Danilovski, Goran Momirovic, Miroslav Momirovic, Annette (Jeffrey) Nellessen, Nicoletta Tisma, Ana (Daniel) Jovanovic, Tomislav Lazarevski, Jaclyn (Jeremy) Cordes, Stefani (Milan ) Tica, Jovan Tisma, Stefan Lazarevski, Aleksandra Ivanisevic, Jelena Ivanisevic, Marko Momich, Angelina Tisma, Jovana Lazarevski, Talia (Steven) Ruff and Johnny Sawyer IV. Loving Great-Grandfather to Antonio and Maksim Danilovski, Nastasia and Nino Jovanovic, Alina Nellessen, Josephine Cordes, Teodora Tica, Johnny Sawyer V and Everly Ruff. Devoted Brother of Zlate, Sara, Jeva, Donka and Jakov. Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews in the former Yugoslavia and U.S.A.

Tomislav, Tomce, Daddy, Deda Tom, Tome Adzija, as he was known to many, came to the U.S.A. with his wife and 5 children on September 6, 1970. He worked diligently day and night for a better life for his family and always managed to help others along the way. Tomislav was a go- getter and loved a challenge which contributed much to his success. He loved to travel, and did so up until his final days. His love for his village, in the mountains of Krakornica, led him to build a church and home there. He had a big and kind heart as all who knew him could attest. A superb cook and hospitable man, he sure loved to eat. He taught us how to appreciate and cook gourmet meals. His desire for a good, homemade meal never ceased even when he no longer could eat. Tomislav couldn’t wait to be reunited with his wife of 63 years. His journey now finally reunites them. “Tome Adzija” will always be remembered and live forever in our hearts.

Tom, 21+ years ago I showed up in your life, and frankly caught you by total surprise. Initially, I truly believe you had hoped I was either Macedonian or Serbian ….. but over time you came to accept me and my children and I will be forever thankful for this. In fact the past 8 years or so we became very close especially the past 2-1/2 years. We had many deep conversations sitting at your dinner table that I will cherish forever. Thank you, and rest in peace until we see each other again. Please kiss and hug Baba Jeva for all of us. Also, Jovan and Tanash. John III
