Velimir Tomich, 94, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born on October 6, 1930 in the village of Radobić, Mionica municipality in Serbia, to father Dragoljub and mother Pauna Tomić. Memory eternal.
Velimir will be sorely missed by his loving children: son Alexander (Vesna) Tomich; daughter Maria (Aleksandar) Ćulafić; adoring grandchildren: Luka, Ilija and Liliana Tomich and Andriana and Aleksa Ćulafić; families Tomich and Ćulafić, as well as by numerous other family members, Kumovi and dear friends in Serbia, the USA and worldwide.
Visitation took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 – 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60046.
Opelo (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service) 1:30 p.m. at the New Gračanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery.
Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
After the interment, Daća (Serbian Orthodox Memorial Luncheon) was served at the Monastery.
