Zlatana Bojović

Zlatana Bojović, 86, of Kenosha, passed away on June 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Goražde, Berane, Yugoslavia on Sept. 14, 1934 to parents Vuko and Dragica (Djukić) Nenadović.

She married Mihailo on January 27, 1954, and together raised four loving children. The family immigrated to Kenosha on October 15, 1975. She retired from Chrysler in 2000 and was a member of UAW Local 72. She attended services at St. Nikola Serbian Orthodox Church in Waukegan and later at Saint Sava Monastery in Libertyville.

Zlatana’s passion and purpose in life was her family and she was a fierce protector of her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She was loved and respected by people who got to know her here and back home.

She is survived by her sister Nada Boričić; sons Budimir (Danka) and Branimir (Roseann); daughters Branka (Rajo) Djukić and Verica (Pero) Minić; grandchildren, Jagoš, Verica, Natalia, Biljana, and Aleksandra Bojović, Slobodan and Tomislav Djukić, and Marina and Kristina Minić; two great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mihailo; Branimir’s unborn son, whom she grieved until her last breath; parents; brothers, Milivoje, Milisav, Milosav, Miraš, and Milun (MIA).

Private visitation will be at Sveta Gora Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL, (773)-588-2200. Orthodox funeral services and interment will be in Zagorje, Berane, Montenegro.
